You seem smart and we bet you have a lot of smart questions. We think we might know some of them so check out the answers below. If you don't see your question asked here, shoot us an email.

Q. Who will the mentors and speakers be?

A. The 2017 Faculty can be found here. It's important to become familiar with the faculty prior to meeting them -- this will help you prepare relevant questions for them based on their experience and current work -- take a look at our Fellows, Mentors and Expert Network of inspiring people who will participate in this year's Academy.

Q. Will I have the opportunity to make funding pitches to potential investors OR FUNDERS?

A. While there will be no formal pitch event to investors, we have an idea pitch night where you get to share your ideas with your awesome peer community to get feedback, and possibly even find a co-founder or your next team member! Learn more about the pitch night on the how to prepare page

Additionally, we will have sessions dedicated to learning about raising capital to fund your venture or nonprofit led by mentors who have successfully raised millions of dollars for all types of ventures. We encourage organic relationships to be built (we even have sessions on how to do that well!).

A. Our hope is you build long-lasting relationships that continue far beyond this week as you pursue what God has purposed your life for. We think an effective way to do this is for local groups of students to continue to gather throughout the school year and encourage one another.

For those interested in seriously pursuing entrepreneurship, we encourage you to apply for our Emerging Founders Program.

Our Praxis Fellows (startups that have been through the Accelerator and are scaling) frequently have job opportunities that we share with Academy Alumni. And finally, a big dream of ours is that Academy students would start ventures that one day are accepted into one of the Praxis Accelerators and we can help you scale your ideas and solve some of the world's most pressing needs.

A. Travel information is here, and you'll need to submit your travel plans to us here. For those looking to take a shuttle from LAX to campus, we'll send you an email with your assigned shuttle and where to find it a few days prior to the event.
