We have you scheduled to be with us at the event on campus on Friday, August 5 from 9 am through 12 noon. We do not yet have your final flight details. Please send those to Lori@praxislabs.org as soon as possible.

We have you down as renting a car or arriving on your own. Please let us know if we can help arrange transportation.

The Biola campus is located at:
13800 Biola Ave
La Miranda, CA 90639

Enter at the Main Entrance off La Mirada Blvd (Google Maps link here) to University Boulevard. Stop at the Security Checkpoint right inside the gate and ask for instructions to Parking Structure S (which is located on your right side, about 0.5 miles down University Drive).

Once you park at Structure S, follow signs to Crowell Hall (which is located North, via a street named Chase Way).

Given that talks will be filmed, we suggest a nice & smart-casual dress.

Promod Haque: Entrepreneurship Across All of Life (30 minutes) -- interviewed by Josh Kwan

  • Promod, can you share with us your journey to become a venture capitalist? (the almost pastor story…). At what point did you realize that God could use you significantly as an investor?
  • You’ve seen a lot over the years as a VC. How have your Christian values served you and the entrepreneurs you work with? Have their been many tensions with your faith, your partners, and so much capital on the line?
  • Many investors in Silicon Valley might hide their faith, but you’ve used your platform as a successful investor to talk quite openly. Can you share about how you made that decision to have a public faith, and how that has worked out?
  • What advice might you have in that regard as students go out into the workplace?
  • Generosity has been a major part of your life story. Could you share how God directed you on this topic, and how this has allowed you to make entrepreneurship a path for many others? (Opportunity International, etc)?
